This text comprises a detailed exposition on point-to-point racing. The object of this book is to discuss from the most practical viewpoint some of the problems which commonly beset the owner, rider, and organiser. It is divided into two parts: 'Part One' deals with the buying, the training, the schooling, and the riding of the point-to-point horse; 'Part Two' deals with the organisation of a meeting, from the lay-out of a course and the duties of the officials, to the selling of race-cards.
