A novel compact printed monopole antenna is designed on FR4 substrate to cover the Industrial Scientific band (ISM) at 2.45GHz. Two monopole antenna models are designed in this documentation. The antenna model 1 has symmetrical radiators and parasitic elements which are loaded parallelly and T-shaped ground which is inverted. The antenna displays the dual band nature and exhibits the resonating frequencies at 2.5GHz and 4.2GHz.
