Biodiesel is an alternative fuel for diesel consisting of the alkyl esters of fatty acids. Vegetable oils are produced from numerous oilseed crops (edible and non-edible). Here an effort has been taken to study performance and emission characteristics of a diesel engine fueled with biodiesel blend fuels, using EGR and VCR.
