During the past few years, the business environment in which coal mines prevail has undergone and experienced sea changes due to pressure from industry, competitors and regulatory body. So high capacity, capital intensive and specialized mining equipment are now being used for removal of overburden in open cast mines. Dragline is one such equipment used for removal of overburden in mines.
