Hollow Ground depicts a three-year period in Stella’s life when she found herself unexpectedly entrenched in an abusive marriage. Shortly after she married, Stella awoke to the realization that her life was slowly becoming shattered by her husband’s unrelenting control, as intimidation seeped into her life.Subsequently, the?negative momentum was catching up to Stella at every turn, causing physical and emotional deprivation that seemed to have no end.
