The Girl Who Turned Tears Into Stars follows Lumi, a quiet night-walker with a strange, tender gift: she gathers people's tears-joyful, sorrowful, trembling-and carries them in a glass vial to her sky-forge among the clouds. There, by comet-spark and patient hands, she turns each tear into a star and releases it to its place in the night, so children who fall asleep crying wake to a sky that somehow understands. But Lumi has never faced her own sorrow.
