SHADOWS AND THE LIGHT is an extensive work near to the genre of paraphrased Scripture though, more specifically, it is a Companion to the Bible. The style is unique in that it consists of the testimonies of Biblical characters who tell their stories in poetic form. Commencing in Genesis, the Creation Poem makes way for the "primeval parents" to give some explanations for their Biblical records.
