SPARROW is the first story for children in the illustrated series, HIMALAYAN TALES. As a child in Gilgit-Baltistan in the Himalayas, Rashid Naeem was told many exciting and uplifting stories by his parents. These stories had been passed from parent to child over many generations, without ever having been written down. The stories are magical, with talking creatures, good and evil. They introduce great dramas, which are eventually resolved and generally lead to a happy and contented life.
