The prevalence of forged certificates poses a significant challenge to the integrity of educational institutions and employers. This study presents the development of an online certificate verification system aimed at enhancing the efficiency, flexibility, and security of certificate authentication processes. The proposed system adopts a Top-Down Design methodology and utilizes MongoDB, a NoSQL database, to overcome limitations in scalability and durability associated with relational databases.
