The first part of the catalogue introduces the location, morphology, and fisheries of Volta Lake, as well as the evolution and diversification of its fisheries over time and across fishing zones. The second section outlines the presentation method for the design drawings, following the FAO catalogue of small-scale fishing gear. The final section describes the operation and specifications of various fishing gear types, supported by detailed design drawings.
