Jean- Marie Gustave Le Clezio's rich and prolific work was initially dedicated to transcribing the Western "here" and "now", the space-time of an alienating ego/anthropocentrism. Later, through the integration of geographical elsewhere, it was to devote itself to new possibilities for man's relationship with the world.
