Fashion photography reflects the influences of the zeitgeist and the fashion sensibilities of different generations. This now highly dominant branch of photography aims to interpret and illustrate trends. This work emphasises the importance of fashion photography in the context of art and uses examples to demonstrate its legitimacy as an art form. Paradoxically, the only constant in fashion is its constant change.
