The apostle Peter, as the writer of the book of 1 Peter and 2 Peter, exhorts to the chosen people of God “Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk.”It means that the chosen people of God have to learn the word of truth of God from the elementary course. Because milk means the baby food, thus it means that they have to learn the word of truth of God from the elementary course like the spiritual food for baby. The elementary course means the process learning the Law to grow up to the spiritual word of truth of God.Therefore the process learning the Law begins with the deeds of the Law that make effort to follow the requirements of the Law through the mind of the flesh.By the way the Law was given as the words of promise of God to save the chosen people of God as the first covenant of God. And the Law as the first covenant of God was given as the law to keep by the mind of the flesh.The deeds of the Law means the deeds that make effort to observe the Law through the mind of the flesh of the Israelites living with the original sin that come from Adam's sin. And after the age of the first covenant with such the Law, at the age of the new covenant, the chosen people of God may receive the spiritual faith given by God.Then through the faith that received from God, they will be aware of the gospel as the word of truth of God that fulfilled through the Cross and the Resurrection that become the gospel missions performed by Jesus in the world of the darkness.
