The reliability of immediately loaded dental implants has been investigated since several years now, as it enables dentists to shorten the waiting period to rehabilitate the edntulous span. This multiperspective compilation has described the various loading protocols and subsequently described the rationale and the relationships between immediate loading, primary stability, implant design, micromotion, immediate implant placement, and bone character are explored.
