This study carried out in Nepal in 2009 to analyze the economic situation of dairy cooperatives and its impact on dairy farmers showed that the dairy cooperatives operating at different scales were operating in profit. The net capital ratio for small, medium and large scale was found to be 1.432, 1.01 and 1.127 respectively while the solvency ratio was found to be 0.88, 0.98 and 0.70 respectively and turn over ratio was10.2%,3% and 15.11% respectively.
