Steven is a curious young sea turtle who lives in the vibrant coral reef off Waikiki Beach. Always eager to explore the world beyond his home, Steven's adventurous spirit leads him to a surprising encounter with a United States Marine ship. When a Marine's hat is blown into the water, Steven swoops in to save the day by retrieving it, proudly wearing it as his new "Marine" hat. From that moment on, he becomes Corporal Steven, a hero among the other turtles in the reef.
