This dissertation highlights that temporomandibular disorders are multifactorial, complex conditions requiring thorough understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and radiology. The TMJ's structural and functional uniqueness makes it vulnerable to a wide spectrum of disorders ranging from developmental anomalies to degenerative diseases.Accurate diagnosis depends on detailed clinical examination supported by appropriate imaging modalities.
